During Symfony Live I talked to Alfonso Alba García (@aalbagarcia). He was planning to organize a symfony meetup in Madrid. This saturday, it's happening, and you can be there...
With the original idea being to organize an informal social gathering, the meetup has already grown to have 25 visitors, with support from companies, an interesting talk on MongoDB and working groups so that people can actually do some development work and get familiar with Symfony2.
Are you thinking of organizing a meetup where you live? Contact me and perhaps I can help you with some advice, and of course promote it here on the blog.
As with any Open-Source project, contributing
code or documentation is the most common way to help, but we also have a wide range of
sponsoring opportunities.
