The symfony team organizes a code sprint on Thursday 20, December 2007. The goal is to dedicate a whole day to symfony activities.
We will fix bugs, improve the documentation, update askeet, fix plugin bugs, ... Everybody can participate in the sprint. You can be anywhere in the world to participate. People can work from home/work or gather together.
If you live near Paris, you're invited to join us at the Sensio's office in Suresnes. Sensio will provide beer and pizza for everybody.
If you want to participate, please add yourself to the wiki page.
As with any Open-Source project, contributing
code or documentation is the most common way to help, but we also have a wide range of
sponsoring opportunities.
I think it is important to make a good list of stuff to do that day. A simple "work on something" is not productive. I have an idea or two and just checking if they can be done in that distributed way
@Fabian: It is very important to make a list. That's why I created a wiki page. Just add your ideas to the list and people can then add their name to express interest in working on the subject. Coordination will be don on the dedicated IRC channel.
I'll be online in the IRC channel - are we going to setup a dedicated channel for it on the day? I think we should....
@fabian (non-SF fabian) - any chance you can post under your full name? :) I'm afraid when it comes to symfony, there's only one true Fabien!
What times are you planning to be "active". I know everyone is in different timezones, but it would be good to get some people working together.

I trust that you can do that pookey. He is spelled with an "e", while I am spelled with an "a". He always uses lowercase f. I use uppercase :) He has an sf Gravatar, I don't.
But I try next time. Promised.
