This week, the development activity of Symfony slowed in preparation for the imminent Symfony 2.3 release. This will be the first long term support release of Symfony2 and the most important version published since the introduction of the new release process.

Symfony2 development highlights

2.2 changelog:

  • 127f3bd: [Finder] fixed a path in a test

2.3 changelog:

  • 554ab9f: [Console] renamed ConsoleForExceptionEvent into ConsoleExceptionEvent
  • 176a3d4: [Console] fix typehint for Application::setDispatcher
  • e93fc7a: [FrameworkBundle] set the dispatcher in the console application
