Back in San Francisco after 3 long years of touring around the USA (Portland, Austin, New-York…), the SymfonyLive conference will be taking place from October 27th to 30th, downtown San Francisco. Pre-conference workshops are taking place on October 27th and 28th, the workshop schedule is already online. This year, we have organized 4 workshops, either one-day workshops or half-day workshops: Mastering Symfony Forms, Symfony Best Practices, Migration Guide to Symfony 3.0 and Profiling PHP Applications. Several combos are available, you just have to pick yours!
Today, we’re super happy to unveil the conference schedule. On October 29th and 30th, meet Yitzchok Willroth, Sarah Khalil, Jordi Boggiano, Ryan Weaver, Beau Simensen, Jessica Mauheran and Fabien Potencier, to name just a few. They will talk about their Symfony experience or about real user cases of Symfony they’ve come across. Listen to Nicolas Grekas who will be presenting Migrating to Symfony 3.0, Kevin Dunglas talking about Leveraging a cloud computing infrastructure to build high performance Symfony webapps and Jonathan Johnson speaking about Building a Symfony API to support Ember.js (or anything else).
Join us for two days of great Symfony conferences in the heart of the Silicon Valley. Lightning talk sessions are scheduled so if you want to share and spread your Symfony experience with the community, you can jump in and speak on stage for 7 minutes! Think about it and send us your topic to get a slot during the conference! Check out the entire program.
Last but not least, for this edition, the cocktail party of the conference will be organized and sponsored by Heroku, we thank them for their support! They’ll welcome us on October 29th, after the first day of conference, in their offices, to share drinks, snacks and to chit-chat about Symfony, the conference, the Giants and of course Symfony again… All SymfonyLive attendees are more than welcome to join the party and enjoy this cool program! Having a drink with good friends at a nice place is always a memorable moment, we hope you’ll join us!
Register now for the conference and take part in the most important Symfony event in the USA. San Francisco here we come!
Help the Symfony project!
As with any Open-Source project, contributing code or documentation is the most common way to help, but we also have a wide range of sponsoring opportunities.
