Symfony Live Paris 2014 (April 7-8) will kick off this year the season of official Symfony Conferences. This french-only event will be held at the Cité Internationale Universitaire in Paris. The call for papers is open until 20th of February and the early bird registration ends on 14th of February.

Events organized by the community

Symfony Cologne Meetup (Wednesday, January 22, 7:00 PM) Jochen Pier will give a talk about Symfony projects, followed by a networking session at the SensioLabs Deutschland offices.

sfPot Lyon (Thursday, January 23, 6:30 PM), after the success of Paris and Montpellier meetings, sfPot, the regular meetup of french Symfony enthusiasts, comes to Lyon. Thomas Jarrand will talk about Symfony2 Security & Websockets, and Matthieu Napoli will talk about the cross-framework interoperability.

Symfony Belgium Meetup (Wednesday, January 29, 7:00 PM) will be the first official event organized by the new belgium Symfony User Group. Mathias Verraes will give a talk about decoupling the model from the framework.

SymfonyDay Portugal 2014 (March 7-8), will be the first Symfony conference in Portugal. Most of the talks will be in portuguese, but the call for papers is also open to English sessions. The registration will open very soon.

SymfonyDay Mexico (April 23-25) will be the first big Symfony event in Latin America, and it will be celebrated within the DrupalCamp Mexico. The call for papers is still open and the registration will open soon.
