Today, I'm excited to announce the fourth Symfony Live Conference in Paris. It will take place on June 7-8th; Paris in the Spring is a lovely city!
Like last year, we will have two parallel tracks and the conference will be held in English (with probably a few sessions in French).
The call for papers is open until March 30th; if you want to share your real-life Symfony experience, consider submitting a session proposal (SensioLabs covers travel and accomodation expenses for foreign speakers.)
Stefan will run the unconference again this year, which has been extended to two days.
On June 6th, SensioLabs will host training sessions on Symfony2 (more information about them will be posted soon).
On June 9th, we will have a free hacking day at the conference venue (hopefully, it will be easier to order some pizzas this year!).
Last but not the least, we have a great early bird price (it's only 179 euros for the two days). Hurry up as this price is only valid for the very first 50 attendees.
Follow us on Twitter to get the latest news about the conference. And if you tweet about the conferences, consider using the official hashtag #symfony_live.
Stay tuned for more information about the US edition of the Symfony Live Conference.
Great news Fabien ! Will it take place on Cité Universitaire again ?
Note there's a little typo on the twitter hastag link.
@Jérôme: Yes, it will take place at the Cité Universitaire again.
Great news!
I forgot how difficult it was to validate a US credit card through Paybox...
Will there be talks about 1.4? Or is it strictly 2.0 now?
@Roy: Talks about symfony 1.4 are also very welcomed.
Registered! See you in Paris :-)
Ticket bought!
Will there be a US event again this year?
The twitter hashtag link seems to be wrong...
@Roy, @Fabien
Thumbs up for talks about symfony 1.4! The topic, its easy: refactoring!
Thanks to the guys that have updated the doctrine/databases chapter of the documentation. ( Inclusion of yaml version of declarations, specifically for relationship mapping ).
Note : something's wrong here, subsequent italicized text from the content bled into the comments, missing closing tag?
Twitter hashtag displayed seems to be wrong... The right one is #symfony_live or #sflive2011?
Should be another great event! Pre-conference meet-up anyone? http://chris.sedlmayr.co.uk/2012-02-18/symfony-live-2012.html
Any plans for another Symfony Live in the US this year?
