SymfonyLive is coming back, that’s right, back to our beloved San Francisco for a whole new chapter in our conference series for 2017 and we just had to share the news with you right away!
As some of you may remember, last year’s SymfonyLive Chicago was cancelled and we were pretty disappointed. But we didn’t let it get us down and in 2017 we’re coming back even stronger and setting up shop again!
We’re going to need your help to make this conference a huge success, so please SAVE THE DATE in next year’s calendar and, write in SymfonyLive San Francisco 2017 October 19th-20th! We’ll follow our usual conference format: 2 days of trainings (17th-18th) and 2 days of conference talks (19th-20th), business meetups, networking, etc. More information will follow so please keep checking our site!
We’ve already confirmed the venue, one of our favorites, Crunchyroll in the heart of the San Fran market district! We organized the SymfonyLive San Francisco conference there in 2015 and they gave us an extraordinary welcome and really took care of the Symfony community. So we’re very pleased to be back there and meet them again.
Our SymfonyLive San Francisco website isn't ready yet, but it will be soon! We're adding all the conference details, including the Call for Papers. So start thinking of what you can share and teach to the entire Symfony community. Also, and this is very important, we're offering a special combo ticket if you purchase your workshop and conference tickets altogether. You will save 20% on the total cost of your SymfonyLive experience and, if you keep an eye out for the early bird, you can save even more!
Before we close this post, we need to thank php[world] for welcoming us after we had to cancel Chicago in 2016. They offered us a place of honor and the possibility to host our SymfonyLive Track. They were a great source of encouragement and support and we are incredibly grateful to everyone involved!
Now that we have new offices in the USA, we’re really counting on seeing you and meeting the American Symfony community there! Stay tuned for more details as things progress and see you at SymfonyLive San Francisco 2017!
Woohoo!
