We're looking for a Symfony backend developer to help us finish a CRM project. The project is about 90% complete and our goal is to replace the client's outdated 20-year-old system.
Tech Stack:
- Backend: Symfony 7, API-platform 3.0
- Frontend: VueJS 3.0 (not required, but nice to have!)
- Database: PostgreSQL with Doctrine
- Hosting: AWS, Docker (using Docker-compose)
We primarily use Symfony's standard components, and right now we need extra hands for backend development, so don't worry if VueJS isn't your thing.
Current Team & Workflow:
- We have a part-time frontend developer and a part-time backend developer (you'll be helping here).
- Tasks are managed in ClickUp, which also provides Git branches automatically.
- After completing a feature, you'll create a merge request in GitLab, which will be reviewed by me (the backend developer).
- We have rigorous code checks: PHPStan (max level), Phan (max level), PHP-cs-fixer (Symfony standard), and around 1700 PHPUnit tests (application, integration, and some unit tests).
Communication & Methodology:
- No formal Agile process, but we do keep each other updated via daily Microsoft Teams meetings or chats.
- Remote working is perfectly fine.
We're a young company based in Apeldoorn, Netherlands. If you're interested, DM me on Slack and we can discuss the project and budget further!
Looking forward to collaborating! 🙂
