It is with great pleasure that I present to you the Symfony Live Unconference. The Unconference will take place parallel to the second day of Symfony Live 2011 in Paris, and is sponsored by Interlutions and my own company Ingewikkeld.
So what is an unconference? It is an extra track at a conference which runs parallel to the regular conference tracks. For the unconference track, however, no schedule is made upfront. At the conference, you can register for one of the slots in the uncon, and present on the topic you are passionate about.
Obviously, in the case of Symfony Live, your topic needs to have some relation with symfony, Symfony2, PHP or software engineering. It needs to be interesting to the Symfony Live visitors. But I am confident that the symfony community can come up with many interesting topics for during the unconference.
The unconference takes place on the second day of Symfony Live Paris, Friday March 4th. This means you will have enough time to prepare and to register for a spot on the uncon schedule. More information about the unconference can be found here.
