A week of symfony #297 (3->9 September 2012)

This was the most important week of the year for Symfony project. After more than one year of hard work and thousands of commits and pull requests, Symfony 2.1 was released. Now it's time to celebrate, and to start thinking about Symfony 2.2.

Fabien, I think that Sensio should prepare a distribution of Symfony that contains most of needed bundles for a normal web application such as translation, administration (for example sonata), twitter-bootsrap integration ... this distribution should work after just the installation. if you do this, really Symfony 2 becomes very easy to use.

You should Know that, currently, only experts can work with SF2 without problems.

In addion, there are more than 1600 bundles and and developers don't know what should he use. He needs only a standard Distribution to concentrate to his business logic.

I hope, that you have the time to do that. Currently i'm very happy to see the SF2.1 in production state. fews weeks and i put my sf2.1 project on production :)
