I provided a training session at the Symfony Camp 2008, and after having talked with some of the attendees it looks that it can be difficult to find symfony trainings in every country.
So if you ever dreamt of being in Paris for Indian Summer learning symfony, this might be the great opportunity you've always be waiting for. Sensio Labs, creator of the symfony framework, is organizing a symfony 1.0 workshop in Paris from September 24th to 26th, 2008 next to the Champs-Elysées and including lunch, snacks, presented material and example code. The training will of course be provided in English.
There are still some seats available for the very next session, so be sure to register for this event if you're interested!
If you cannot move to France, I'm also please to announce the opening of registrations for the Atlanta (USA) and Montréal (Canada) areas. Last, don't hesitate to check out the Sensio Labs training offer.
Hum.. why symfony 1.0 ? Any particular reason ?
I can highly recommend these 3 days training-sessions, either on symfony 1.0 or symfony 1.1 (both exist). I followed one of these trainings last year and helped me a lot in discovering the features of the framework and using it in the right way. So 5 stars! *****
Pierre-Yves: because there are still seats available, as mentionned in the post. If you wish to attend to a 1.1 session, it's of course also possible.
