This year again, SourceForge organizes the "Community Choice Awards". The projects with the highest number of nominations in each category will be selected as the finalists.
For the first year, we will try to be selected as a finalist, and of course we need your help. Last time we did a similar call, we had a tremendous response from the community, and as a result, the next version of the NetBeans IDE will have native support for symfony.
So, feel free to nominate Symfony. I think that the most relevant categories are the following:
- Best Tool or Utility for Developer;
- Best Project for the Enterprise;
- and Best Project.
Please, be fair; only vote once for Symfony and follow the official rules.
And don't forget to spread the word on twitter, IRC, the mailing-lists, ...
Selection for the Awards will be completed in two phases. The first phase will be to nominate finalists for each of the Categories. Nominations will be accepted at http://sourceforge.net/community/cca09 between May 6, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. PDT and May 29, 2009 at 4:00 PDT. Among the nominees for each of the Categories, the finalists for the Awards will be chosen. Voting for the final winners will commence at http://sourceforge.net/community/cca09 on June 22, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. PDT and end on July 20, 2009 at 4:00 pm PDT.
Great! just nominated! Good luck!
"Best Tool or Utility for Developer" + 1
You've mentioned Netbeans IDE, but it's almost 6 months passed and no results on symfony integration there. Do you have any information from NetBeans developers? We've got the 6.7 beta release since that time, but no updates on symfony.
