Since our editor already advertises the upcoming release of The definitive guide to symfony, we though we could mention it as well.
We are currently writing a book about symfony, which will be of great use to all devs who want to build up applications with symfony.
If you don't know anything about symfony, this book will teach you all that you need to know. If you think that you know all there is to know about symfony, think again: this book will contain a lot of new explanations and examples to help you unleash the true power of the framework.
As the book is being written, it won't be available before a few months, so in the meantime you can still refer to the online book to learn about symfony. If you're interested in its content, keep reading this blog: We'll probably release a beta version of the book in PDF version before it's printed. We'll tell you more as soon as it's done.

Help the Symfony project!
As with any Open-Source project, contributing
code or documentation is the most common way to help, but we also have a wide range of
sponsoring opportunities.
Great job. Especially that line was ear soothing-...keep reading this blog: We'll probably release a beta version of the book in PDF version before it's printed." You people are really made of kind heart!
Excellent news! but symfony is changing every day, so I think a definitive guide has to be written for a definitve release (1.0 for example). I don't want to buy the book, and see the fay after some things were added/deletet/changed in the trunk
Ah, that is good news. As I expressed before, I have a type of a bet on symfony running! ;)
Drop me a line if/when you need some proof-reading -- pookey knows about my beta-testing rigueur! *g*
Excellent, hope to see it available in the UK. If it has some explanation on how to work to agile principles, then I shall be putting this on my shopping list. Meanwhile I shall look forward to having a read of the pre-release version.
yeah! me too. congratulations.
