New Symfony Core Team Member: Grégoire Pineau
It's my great pleasure to announce that Grégoire Pineau (lyrixx on the Internet) is joining the Symfony Core Team. Greg has been involved with the Symfony community for many years and he is well known for being the one able to get hundreds of comments on his pull requests; he knows how to engage the community!
In the last four years, he has contributed more than 100 pull requests, ranging from small fixes to great new features like the Form Bootstrap theme (205 comments), the LockHandler in the Filesystem component (166 comments), and the Workflow component (248 comments) that is going to be a great addition of Symfony 3.2.
Besides leading for the Workflow component future, he will also bring his great experience in working on large Symfony applications to help improve the framework.
Welcome Greg!
As with any Open-Source project, contributing code or documentation is the most common way to help, but we also have a wide range of sponsoring opportunities.

He's such a familiar face (avatar) when I visit Symfony's repositories that I'm kind of surprised that this did not happen sooner.
