Help build the software 2,500 people in the moving industry use to do their work, and LiveQuote, which uses AI to turn a video call into a moving quote.
About us
With Bas, moving companies run everything in one system: from the home survey and the quote to the planning, the moving day and the invoice. We are the market leader in the Netherlands and now want to grow abroad. Our sister company LiveQuote recognises furniture live in a video call and estimates the volume.
What you'll do
- Build features and fix bugs end to end, from database to screen, in Bas and LiveQuote.
- Work in epics chosen together with the product owner; you decide the technical approach.
- Help build our AI features: an AI assistant for movers and our own MCP server.
What you bring
- Senior experience with both backend and frontend.
- PHP with Symfony and PostgreSQL.
- React with TypeScript.
- Python, or you pick it up quickly.
- You use AI tools as much as you like, but you can explain every line you deliver.
Our tech
Symfony, API Platform, PostgreSQL, Mercure, React with TypeScript, React Native with Expo and Python with FastAPI. DDD with a hexagonal architecture on the backend, Feature-Sliced Design on the frontend, self-hosted including the database and AI models.
What we offer
- From €5,500 gross per month for 40 hours (32–40 negotiable), plus 8% holiday allowance and the chance to earn shares in LiveQuote.
- €1,000 signing bonus after probation.
- 27 days of holiday, 5% pension contribution, MacBook Pro, AI coding subscriptions, home working, phone and travel allowances.
- Hybrid: 1–2 days a week at the office in the Eindhoven area.
