About us

With Bas, moving companies run everything in one system: from the home survey and the quote to the planning, the moving day and the invoice. Movers work in it every day, so they notice what you build straight away. We are the market leader in the Netherlands and now want to grow abroad.

What you'll do

• Build features and fix bugs across all of Bas, backend and frontend. You get guidance, and within a year you pick up work on your own.
• Work in epics chosen together with the product owner, who hands over the work fully specified; you decide the technical approach.
• Help make it easier for new customers to get started and get Bas ready for other countries.

What you bring

• A few years of experience with both backend and frontend, and you enjoy working on both.
• PHP with Symfony or Laravel, and PostgreSQL.
• React with TypeScript.
• You trace a bug down to its cause, and you see bugs and support as normal work.
• You use AI tools as much as you like, but you can explain every line you deliver.
• A plus: React Native (Expo) or Rust.

Our tech

Symfony, API Platform, PostgreSQL, Mercure and React with TypeScript. DDD with a hexagonal architecture on the backend, Feature-Sliced Design on the frontend, self-hosted including the database and AI models. Strict typing, PHPStan and reviews.

What we offer

• From €4,000 gross per month for 40 hours (32–40 negotiable), plus 8% holiday allowance.
• €1,000 signing bonus after probation.
• 27 days of holiday, 5% pension contribution, MacBook Pro, AI coding subscriptions, home working, phone and travel allowances.
• Hybrid: 1–2 days a week at the office in the Eindhoven area.
• Guidance, responsibility from day one, and a small, informal team focused on results.
