The Symfony project relies on volunteer efforts from many people around the
world. I'm very grateful to everyone who contributes to the Symfony project but
unfortunately, not all contributors are equal. The contributors who write code
are the most well-known but how can we also reward all the other community
members who dedicate some of their precious time to the Symfony project?

Thursday is the day! That day, Symfony2 will be released. Of course, we don't want to let that pass without attention. So aside from the obvious "OMG IT'S OUT I NEED IT NOW" shout in the office that day, why not join fellow developers to celebrate the release of Symfony2? Several launch parties are scheduled already, and if there isn't one in your area, we invite you to organize one yourself!

Not yet decided what to do for the summer holiday this year? Do you just feel
like going to the country of pizza, pasta, beautiful women and attractive men?
Or are you more into contributing to Symfony2 and it's future? Whatever the
reason you may have, next week is a good time to be in Italy. More
specifically: Cesena. Because next week (July 29 and 30), the Symfony2 CMF
Camp will take place there. A two-day
meeting to talk, discuss, code, eat, drink and have fun.
