Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer with a strong background in Symfony and React to join our team. You’ll play a key role in developing and maintaining modern, scalable web applications for our growing platform. Our current stack includes Symfony 7, PHP 8.2, React 18, and MySQL, and we follow modern development practices including Docker-based development, and Agile workflows.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain robust backend services using Symfony 7 and Doctrine ORM
  • Build modern, responsive user interfaces with React 18
  • Design scalable MySQL schemas and optimize query performance
  • Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other developers
  • Participate in code reviews and planning meetings
  • Ensure best practices across the full development lifecycle

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of professional experience in web application development
  • 3+ years of experience with Symfony (v5.4+), ideally v7
  • 3+ years of experience with React.js (v17+), ideally v18
  • Strong understanding of OOP and modern PHP (v8.1+)
  • Experience with MySQL, query optimization, and relational data modeling
  • Solid knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
  • Familiarity with Docker, Git, and CI/CD workflows Experience with API integrations (REST, GraphQL) A deep understanding of the software development process and Agile methodologies

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with testing frameworks like PHPUnit, and React Testing Library
  • Basic knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP)
  • Experience working in a remote team environment Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Tabnine)
  • Awareness of how AI technologies can support business processes (e.g., automation, content generation, data extraction, decision support)
