Our platform helps schools stay compliant with UK Visa regulations by keeping students safe, organising and logging travel plans. We're looking for a capable, experienced backend developer who wants long-term stability, project autonomy, and part-time hours. If you enjoy working independently, but collaboratively when needed, you'll fit right in.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Collaborate closely with our front-end and AI teams
  • Extend and maintain APIs, especially in support of our AI-driven projects
  • Build tools for automating billing pipelines
  • Integrate with dispatch software to automate & track vehicle movements
  • Develop secure card payment solutions and payment-related API clients

Required Tech & Skills

You will need:

  • Solid experience with Symfony (PHP)
  • Strong ability with MySQL/Doctrine
  • Good git version control skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, reliably, and with accountability

Nice-to-Haves

  • Kubernetes
  • Experience with Google Cloud (especially GKE, Cloud SQL, relevant GCP services)
  • MySQL 8+
  • Python experience
  • CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins)
