The last beta version of symfony 1.1 was released this week. Next version will be Release Candidate 1. Besides, plugins have broken all records this week with an immensurable development activity. More than 24 plugins have been updated and continue enhancing the framework in multiple ways.

Symfony 1.1 beta 3 was released this week, completing one of the last milestones before the final release of symfony 1.1. Meanwhile, symfony related jobs, blogs and posts about symfony and websites created with symfony continue blooming all around the world.

During this week, the second symfony "code sprint" took place, generating very intense development and documenting activity. The result is a whopping 170 changeset list and a great update of symfony 1.1 book. In addition, 10 new symfony-powered websites have been presented, 6 new plugins have been published and more than 20 plugins have been updated this week. Symfony source code has also established another extraordinary milestone with more than 8000 unit and functional tests.
