The road to symfony 1.1 continues with more changesets and internal refactoring. Lots of new and updated plugins and lots of new symfony-powered websites.

Refactorization of symfony core continues with more than 50 changesets during the last 7 days. Busiest week ever for plugin development: 6 new plugins released and 20 plugins updated.

Busy week for symfony: 1.0.7 version released, SymfonyCamp 2007, lots of job postings, lots of new symfony powered websites and frenetic plugin activity.

Symfony's long-awaited 1.1 version gets closer as Fabien delegates 1.0.X version maintenance, continues refactorization of core components and prepares the upgrading process.

Symfony core refactorization accelerates as symfony 1.1 release approaches. This week, the routing system, the response object and the request object have been completely refactored.

During this week, the development has been focused on new and updated plugins. Symfony's marketplace grows with new job offers and blogosphere fills with lots of symfony posts and new bloggers.

It won't be long before the release of symfony 1.1 and therefore continues the refactoring of its components. The logging system, the web debug toolbar and the symfony bootstraping have been refactored this week.

Symfony released 1.0.6 version this week and included the new CLI system with lots of improvements. Symfony 1.1 will also include a new form/validation/fillin layer that maintains compatibility with actual mechanism.

Symfony development steadily progresses towards 1.1 version and prepares for major refactoring during following weeks. Plugins list adds up 108 plugins, with 3 more plugins released this week. Symfony's marketplace grows with new job offers and devolpers for hire all around the world.

Development of symfony framework continues at a frenetic pace. This week also marks a new milestone for development: the 2000th ticket.
