Lead Symfony Developer

We are seeking an experienced Lead PHP Developer to join our client HH Global in Prague. The role is 100% remote.

Offering a competitive salary of €72,100, this full-time opportunity is open to candidates located anywhere in Europe. As a key senior member of the technical team, you will play a vital role in leading development initiatives, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and build robust digital solutions. This role has a strong emphasis on innovation, technical leadership, and delivering scalable software systems that meet the demands of high-profile clients.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of proficiency in PHP, with extensive knowledge and commercial experience working with the Symfony framework. You will be responsible for architecting and maintaining scalable backend services and will work closely with frontend developers utilising Angular to create seamless user experiences. DevOps knowledge is highly desirable, as you will be expected to contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud deployments as part of your role in promoting effective development operations.

Essential skills and experience:

• Extensive experience in PHP development, particularly with the Symfony framework
• Strong frontend integration experience using Angular
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure
• Proven leadership experience in heading development teams or projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Fluency in English
