A week of symfony #265 (23->29 January 2012)
This week, time, logger and Doctrine collectors were tweaked and refactored. Meanwhile, the Form component fixed lots of bugs, specially with the improvements of ChoiceListInterface and its implementations.
A week of symfony #264 (16->22 January 2012)
This week, Form and Validator were the most active components on the Symfony2 master branch. First, the CollectionValidator introduced new Optional and Required constraints. Second, the validation of form children was made configurable, meaning that child forms now aren't validated anymore by default (bc-break change).
A week of symfony #263 (9->15 January 2012)
This week, Symfony2 master branch committed an important security-related and backwards-incompatible change: moved user comparison logic out of UserInterface. In addition, the winners of the first Symfony Community Awards were announced.
A week of symfony #262 (2->8 January 2012)
This week, the upcoming Symfony 2.1 version removed DoctrineBundle as it was migrated to the Doctrine organization. Meanwhile, Symfony2 components unveiled their brand-new documentation section. Lastly, Symfony 2.0.9 maintenance version was published to address some minor problems in 2.0.8.
A week of symfony #261 (26 December 2011 -> 1 January 2012)
The last week of the year brought the release of Symfony 2.0.8 and the addition of streamed responses for the upcoming Symfony 2.1 version.
A week of symfony #260 (19->25 December 2011)
This week, the Symfony2 master branch focused on a big DoctrineBridge refactorization. In addition, the Filesystem class was moved to its own component. Lastly, the 2.0 branch was made compatible with the upcoming Twig 1.5 version.
A week of symfony #259 (12->18 December 2011)
This week, Symfony2 development got a boost. Firstly, its 2.0.x branch fixed lots of fixes and added some tests. Meanwhile, the master branch added a new kernel.terminate
event and introduced a new memory spool for SwiftMailer that makes applications more responsive. Lastly, the 16th maintenance version of symfony 1.4 was published to address some minor bugs.
A week of symfony #258 (5->11 December 2011)
This week Symfony 2.0.7 was released, fixing some bugs and bumping the version of several components. That's the case of Twig, upgraded to its latest and greatest 1.4 version. Meanwhile, the master branch continued adding some minor but nice tweaks.
A week of symfony #257 (28 November -> 4 December 2011)
This week, development activity focused on minor bug fixes. Meanwhile SensioLabs Connect added a cool feature to create private clubs. Lastly, the official Symfony2 code repository surpassed the 3,500th watcher milestone.
A week of symfony #256 (21->27 November 2011)
This week, the official Symfony2 repository added support for the Travis distributed continuous integration server. In addition, Twig published a new release candidate version that includes a custom C extension to increase the runtime performance of Twig templates.
