A week of symfony #456 (21-27 September 2015)
This week, Symfony 2.3.33 and Symfony 2.7.5 maintenance versions were released. In addition, two new Symfony components were created: Guard and PropertyInfo. Lastly, a lot of features were deprecated in preparation for the imminent "feature freeze" period.

This week Symfony 2.8 finally introduced its redesigned profiler. In addition, the Finder component was vastly simplified and optimized, even for Symfony 2.3 applications. Lastly, the Symfony Live London 2015 conference was hold with great success.

New in Symfony 2.8: Redesigned Profiler
A few weeks ago we introduced the redesigned debug toolbar for Symfony 2.8. Today we are proud to introduce the redesigned Symfony Profiler to match the modern look and feel of the toolbar.
A week of symfony #454 (7-13 September 2015)
This week, Symfony 2.7.4 maintenance version was released. In addition, Silex 1.3.3 was released to add compatibility with Symfony versions from 2.3 to 3.0. Lastly, Twig showed an impressive development activity and introduced features such as inlining the original source code in the compiled templates.

Twig 1.21.2 released
Twig 1.21.2 has just been released and contains a fix for a bug that breaks a lot of applications including recent versions of Symfony (2.3 and 2.7 latest releases).

A week of symfony #453 (31 August - 6 September 2015)
This week, Symfony 2.3.32 maintenance version was released. Meanwhile, a lot of deprecations were removed in the master branch and the profiler was updated to group related deprecation messages. Lastly, Twig, Silex and Swiftmailer projects showed a nice development activity, including new features such as adding Traversable support for replace, merge and sort Twig filters.
Calling for Issue Triagers, a new Workflow and the Carson Butler
Triagers - those people who help ask questions on issues, verify bug reports and review pull requests - are the backbone to what makes Symfony strong. We need more, and we're experimenting with a new workflow to make it easier.
